Urban Pie, Highcross welcomed BBC Leicester into the store for a leaving party last night. They had a great time tucking ito our tasty pies. We welcome parties of all sizes, so if you have an upcoming birthday party, team meeting or you just fancy a nice meal out with friends let us know.

It seems that we are not the only people who are crazy about pies this week! Oliver Stallwood from the Metro highlights the fact that ’sales of the pastry-encased dishes have increased by 17 million in the past 12 months’. Another amazing fact he mentions is that ‘Down Under, a dogs eye (meat pie) with a bit of dead horse is considered a national dish, with Australians eating almost 260 million a year’.
